Championing interconnectedness and support for the Canadian Caribbean Diaspora and diverse seniors community
Ubuntu Legacy Community Care is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the Canadian Caribbean Diaspora and diverse seniors aged 55+ in Mississauga's Peel Region.
Since our establishment, we have been unwavering in our commitment to providing support, well-being programs, and combating isolation among our seniors. Our work is grounded in the Ubuntu philosophy—"I am because we are"—which recognizes that our individual well-being is deeply connected to the well-being of our community.
We continuously strive for improvement and expansion to better serve our community, building a legacy of care, dignity, and mutual support that honors the wisdom and contributions of our elders.

We lead with empathy and understanding, creating a safe space for all community members.
We believe in the power of community and the Ubuntu philosophy: 'I am because we are.'
We equip seniors with knowledge, resources, and support to live their best lives.
We continuously evolve our programs to meet the changing needs of our community.
The Ubuntu Legacy Board of Directors is a dedicated team committed to upholding the Ubuntu principles of "I am because we are." Each member brings unique skills and perspectives that contribute to the overall success of our organization.
