Helps combat feelings of isolation and loneliness
Boosts mood and overall mental wellbeing
Supports cognitive function and memory
Provides tools for anxiety and depression management
Cultural & Community Benefits:
Offers a gentle, culturally-sensitive approach to wellness

Empowers seniors to take control of their health journey
Aligns with Ubuntu Legacy's mission of holistic community care
Provides accessible wellness options for all mobility levels
This is why we've included yoga in our programming, like our upcoming March 10th yoga session as part of our Diabetes Intervention Program. We meet everyother Monday at the same location, as the weather changes our seniors enjoys nature walks in some of Mississauga's senic parks.
These sessions are specifically designed to meet our seniors where they are, with modifications available for all ability levels.
